Bry's Tri

Bryan did his first triathlon this past weekend. Some of Bry's guys wanted to race so UPS sponsored a team. They took 2nd overall in the Corporate division, and Bryan came in 8th out of 23 in his age group, pretty good especially when you consider how much he trained (or maybe I should say how little). It kind of gave me the itch to compete again so maybe we will both train and do a couple next summer! The boys had a blast watching, Jett was especially fascinated by all of the people in strange clothes running around and the all you can eat watermelon bar at the end!

Animals, animals and more animals...

This week we went to the fair, a farm and a petting zoo.

Even Cole had a great time at the petting zoo. While Jett was out harassing poor animals, he was just hanging out being the cute kid that he is.

Summer Fun

We've been wanting to take the boys camping this summer, luckily we did a test run before heading into the backcountry. Jett had a great time setting up the tent, playing in the tent was a blast, even the lantern was cool...but as for sleeping in the tent...not this weekend. Good thing the back yard is only a few steps from the comfort of our own beds, or it could have been a long night for anyone within a few hundred miles of our camp site.

Cole thought the tent was fun and even though he didn't have a cool camo suit like his brother, he slept like a rock in the warm tent.

Nothing beats the heat like splashing in the water, so its a good thing Jett loves the pool. He even goes down the "big boy" waterslide on Dads lap.
